JURE 2009 pre-conference

The JURE Pre-conference 2009

Prior to the 13th biennial EARLI Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, the Junior Researchers of EARLI will organise a pre-conference for junior researchers on August 24th and 25th. The biennial JURE pre-conferences are aimed at sharing research findings and concerns with peers and with more experienced senior researchers. Furthermore, the pre-conferences provide a place for the improvement of presentation and discussion competencies of junior researchers. Short workshops are also organized, conducted by senior researchers.

The JURE 2009 pre-conference provides a wide range of opportunities for participants to engage in active exchanges of ideas and to receive feedback on their work. All junior researchers are cordially invited to make submissions to the conference and to present their research to fellow juniors and attending seniors. The pre-conference includes different presentation formats, including paper sessions, interactive poster sessions, roundtables, as well as “hands on” workshops. Next to the official programme, we hope you will join and create informal discussions in the hallways, relax during the organized and spontaneous social activities, and visit the beautiful city of Amsterdam.
